"Firstly, please know that i believe everyone at this agency in China Grove is the best! They are all incredibly nice and are all willing to help as much as they can! My review is the entire State Farm experience not on the exceptional customer service these representatives offer. That being said. I Called in to adjust my homeowners policy as I noticed my premium had went down significantly over the last years and after checking, found that my homeowners coverage was only 40k. I called in, ran through the quote, and was told I needed about 160k. Sounded right, I do have a smaller, relatively inexpensive home. Told them to go ahead. Three weeks later, I heard nothing, called back, and was told that 40k is what underwriting approved. They did finally say they could go as high as 85k to cover me in the case of my 160k loss. After telling the agent that I will be shopping around for other insurance, no other options were offered as she could only offer what the State Farm underwriting would approve. After seeing the Halfway There insurance commercials, it hit me that State Farm was describing exactly the service they deliver in a cleverly veiled "parody" insurance commercial. 85k is about "Halfway There" to what the initial agent quoted that I need. Another quote from the Halfway There commercials came into play here as well "Forget what we told you, it ain't worth squat." According to Google, "State Farm reported a net income of $12.9 billion for 2025, more than doubling its $5.3 billion profit in 2024." They more than doubled their profits for being "Halfway There". If State Farm can deliver for you, Kristina Cook and her agency are absolutely the best! But State Farm may not be the best option anymore."
